I have 12 hours to get your vote (here's why)
How to beat the bias and earn like the Steves
Remember when I said I was taking August off?
Well, I'm doing that thing we all do – breaking my own boundaries for a "really good reason" — except this time, I'm owning it!
Here's the deal: I need your vote for my SXSW EDU panel before midnight tonight.
The panel is called "Dear School: It's Not Me, It's You" – a breakup letter to education after 25+ years of trying to make it work.
You know how I write about women fixing broken systems instead of calling them out? That's literally what we've been doing in schools. This panel flips that script.
The ask:
Watch my 30-second video here (if you want to see what the panel is about and my cute son)
Vote on PanelPicker here (you have to create an account & I promise it takes 30 seconds.
That's it
Voting closes at midnight tonight. If you've got 30 seconds, I'd love your support.

Now back to my vacation, where I'm definitely not checking every 5 minutes to see if people voted.

P.S. Regular programming returns in September, where we'll talk about why "collaborative leadership" is often code for "doing everyone else's job." See you then 👋

What a great video! Your son is adorbs! I hope you get picked!
